Certification Standings

Four Levels of
Verified Trust

Each Standing requires both a satisfaction ratio and a volume threshold. You can't fake scale, and you can't fake consistency.

Why Both Gates Matter

A 100% satisfaction rate from 3 clients doesn't mean the same thing as 95% from 1,000.

IBT's Standing system encodes that directly. Every Standing requires meeting two simultaneous thresholds: a satisfaction ratio and a minimum count of verified positive responses.

Ratio Gate — the percentage of responses that were positive. Proves clients are genuinely satisfied.
Volume Gate — the raw count of verified positives. Proves satisfaction has been delivered at meaningful scale.
The Pass Logic
Step 1: Backstop  →  if neg ≥ 10% of N → FAIL
Step 2: Min responses  →  if responses < n → INCOMPLETE
Step 3a: Count gate  →  if neg ≤ c → PASS
Step 3b: Ratio gate  →  if neg/total ≤ 10% → PASS
Final: Both 3a and 3b fail → FAIL
Pass = count gate OR ratio gate. Both must fail for a rejection.
